Written by our Constantia Branch Teacher, Samantha Coogan:
Why is repetition so important? Repetition instills confidence, it instills values into children and most importantly, it’s a phenomenal teaching tool.
Samantha says, “when I started teaching the Wriggle and Rhyme programme, my youngest son was 7 months old, and my eldest 2.5 years old. My youngest, Christopher is an avid Wriggle and Rhyme fan. After only two terms at Wriggle and Rhyme, he participates enthusiastically and anticipates the music and actions in every song. He’s growing an extensive vocabulary and can follow instructions.
BABY CHRISTOPHER AT ONE OF HIS CLASSES:

My eldest, James, was taking his time to talk. After one term at Wriggle and Rhyme, he’s able to sing all the songs and use them in appropriate situations. My heart warmed one morning, when putting on his wellington boots for school, he sang ‘splish, splash, splosh, jumping in the puddles’. What a joy!”
BIG BOY JAMES ENJOYING A CLASS WITH SAMANTHA:

Repetition instills confidence, it brings joy.
Our Wriggle and Rhyme programs tap into this phenomenal teaching tool with our termly themes, which gently encourage routine and repetition, building listening and language skills.
