As every year closes, the Wriggle and Rhyme team celebrates the year that has passed with gratitude.
After the carnage of 2020 where our business was forced to shut down or run online classes only for a large part of the year, 2021 has been better. It’s taking time for us to fully recover, but we have much to be grateful for.
Seeking out gratitude
I really wanted us to celebrate somewhere particularly special this year. I wanted the celebration to elevate us, literally and emotionally, so that we could lift our eyes and focus on gratitude.
So, I googled “fabulous rooftop bars in Cape Town” and The Silo Hotel came up, at the Waterfront.

On a high
The venue was spectacular! We met on Sunday afternoon, 11 floors up with panoramic views of the Waterfront and city.
We enjoyed ample glasses of bubbly and virgin cocktails, with delicious flatbreads and bar snacks to nibble on.
We spent time catching up as a team, sharing, expressing gratitude and enjoying specially made W&R gifts.
What a special afternoon it was! Taking a few hours out of our busy lives to pause, enjoy a spectacular location and to express how much we all appreciate our Wriggle and Rhyme team!
