It’s been a busy week for our Pre-Schools teaching team … they are moving around our partner schools offering dynamic demos to all the children, while parents make a decision on which extra-mural options to choose.

I was fortunate to be able to attend some of the demos yesterday and it was an absolute delight!
Music brings such joy … it is a privilege to be able to witness children engaging with music as it is such a powerful catalyst for learning. Our teachers are also able bring our program to life with such love and experience.
Each child that took part in our demos received a sticker …
One of the moms sent us a message last night to say that her little boy cried when she had to take the sticker off so that he could get ready for bed!
A sprinkle of magic?
For me personally though, one of the best experiences yesterday, was a little four year old coming up to me between classes and presenting me with a long stick. It was a little branch from a nearby tree which she had picked up. She told me it was a gift … I thanked her and asked her what it was. She told me it was my magic wand, because we’re like fairy godmothers, bringing musical magic to the school.

With utter delight and little tears in my eyes, I accepted her special gift … assured that music truly does spread love and joy!
