The Wriggle and Rhyme Music and Movement Programme team got together recently to celebrate 2019 with gratitude, friendship and fun!
Treats galore …
We met at the Radison Blu Hotel at the Waterfront in Cape Town. We had booked a table on the deck overlooking Granger Bay. It was the most spectacular day and the view was amazing.
The team enjoyed cocktails and desserts together, which were both delicious and beautiful.
Gratitude first …
As the Programme Director, I always have the privilege of thanking everyone. To tie it in with the venue, I decided to thank each one of the team by attributing each of them to a dessert or cocktail on the menu.
It was a frivolous, fun way of pointing out each team member’s wonderfully unique, sweet and delicious qualities.
Goodbye and Hello!
We also had the opportunity to say goodbye to Samantha and Lauren who are leaving us at the end of the year. Samantha has been part of the team for almost 3 years running our Constantia branch. Lauren joined 5 years ago and has been running our branch in Fish Hoek. They will be sorely missed!
We also officially welcomed Albertina to the team. She has started a branch in Somerset West which is growing from strength to strength.
It addition to working in the Wriggle and Rhyme team, all of us are busy moms with full lives. So, it was just such a spoil to spend an afternoon together enjoying each other’s company and the delicious treats on offer.
I’m so grateful to work with such an amazing group of women. They are all working hard to provide for and nurture their families at their different stages of life. Each one of them inspires me to keep going!
As our classes close for the year, we’re looking forward to a well deserved break and a wonderful 2020.
We just missed Clarice from our Claremont branch who had a family wedding event!
